Marietta, Ga. — December 12, 2006 —  Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has selected 40 students with cystic fibrosis (CF) to receive a 2006-2007 CREON® Family Scholarship.  These winners are being recognized for their academic excellence as well as their courage in battling CF, an incurable genetic disease.

Each student receives $2,000 per year for up to two years of study and a year’s supply of CREON® MINIMICROSPHERES® (pancrelipase delayed-release capsules, USP) and SourceCF® Softgels Multivitamins.  At the end of each two-year award period, recipients are eligible to apply for additional scholarship funding.
