Solvay Pharmaceuticals Senior Marketing Manager Honored as Industry Rising Star by Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association
Marietta, Ga. (May 16, 2005) – Becky Gamble, senior manager, Healthcare Solutions marketing for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc., was honored as an industry Rising Star by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association at its 2005 Woman of the Year award luncheon on Thursday, May 12 in New York.
HBA Rising Stars are rising professionals in various sectors of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advertising, public relations, medical education and market research, among other fields. Nominated by HBA’s corporate members, the Rising Stars represent various career stages and disciplines, and have demonstrated noteworthy achievements and proven attention to furthering their careers.
Gamble currently serves as senior marketing manager of Healthcare Solutions for Solvay Pharmaceuticals. In this role, she is responsible for the development and subsequent marketing of the company’s managed care and portfolio strategies.
Prior to joining Solvay Pharmaceuticals in November 2002, Gamble was vice president of Business Development for the Center for Health Information, a Virginia-based medical marketing and communications company. Much of her 17-year career in the pharmaceutical industry has been dedicated to account management, marketing, strategic planning and development. Her career, beginning as a sales representative, also includes positions as national account and district manager. Gamble earned a bachelor’s degree in international business with an emphasis in German in 1985 from Auburn University.
