Ann Willmoth Named Vice President, Commercial Development and Services for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Marietta, Ga. – April 4, 2005 – Ann Willmoth has been named Vice President, Commercial Development and Services for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
In her new role, Willmoth will be responsible for Solvay Pharmaceuticals’ healthcare solutions marketing and managed markets; trade affairs and pharmacy development; commercial and corporate training and development; sales operations and sales force effectiveness; and the company’s U.S. portfolio development. Willmoth will report to Jim Hynd, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, and will serve as a member of the company’s management team.
Willmoth previously served as Vice President of Sales, responsible for all aspects of the company’s sales efforts in the U.S. including two national field sales organizations and three corporate divisions.
Prior to joining Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 1997, Willmoth held multiple sales leadership and customer marketing positions with Bausch & Lomb, Inc., including roles as director of national field sales for the company’s personal products division and vice president of sales for its U.S. eyewear division. Her career began as a personal care products representative for the Colgate-Palmolive Company.
Willmoth earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Kentucky and a master’s in education from Georgia State University. She is an active member of the National Society of Female Executives, the Georgia Easter Seal Society, the University of Kentucky Alumni Association and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
