Kevin Guthrie Named Vice President, Commercial Operations for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Marietta, GA – March 1, 2005 – Kevin Guthrie has been named Vice President, Commercial Operations – Neuroscience, for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

In his new role, Guthrie will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing activities as part of Solvay Pharmaceuticals’ neuroscience business unit. Guthrie will report to Jim Hynd, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and will serve as a member of the company’s management team.

Guthrie previously served as Director, Sales Operations where he oversaw sales information, sales force deployment, promotional strategy and systems, fleet and sample compliance, and meetings and conventions. Prior to joining Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Guthrie served as Director of Sales Planning and Administration for Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Guthrie received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Murray State University.
