Manager, Sales Strategy and Incentives
Location: Marietta, GA
Responsibilities:
The Sales Strategy and Incentives Group, is chartered as an in-house consultancy, responsible for certain strategic planning functions such as call plan, alignments incentive strategy, and ad-hoc work as well. The Manager SSI, is responsible for developing, documenting, selling, managing and evaluating Call Plans, Alignments, IC plans and various other ad hoc projects usually related to these core activities It is expected that the Manager SSI, will take an active role as innovator and independent thinker identifying substantive opportunities to perform these functions more effectively and more efficiently and taking steps to turn ideas into actions and results. In order to create and manage call plans, IC plans and alignments the Manager-SSI, spends their time on 5 core activities; Scenario Planning, Strategic Planning, Analysis & Recommendations, Communications and Project Management.

Qualified applicants are likely to have a background in Management Consulting or Pharmaceutical operations, including project management, call plan, alignment, sales force sizing. Management of field or internal personnel is desirable as well. Successful candidates must be able to understand and articulate current business strategies and trends, cause and effect relationships and the costs/benefits of alternative scenarios. The Manager SSI will be expected to independently identify needs within the organization, leading to the development of analysis, insights and recommendations for leadership. Project management is a key element of the Manager SSI role. Applicants should demonstrate past success working collaboratively, managing time, resources and multiple work streams for on time completion of deliverables. It is expected that the Manager SSI will perform these activities with a high degree of autonomy, while seeking to measurably improve their skills and abilities. The Manager SSI should be a driver for the improvement of processes, tools and approaches leading to increasing quality, speed and impact of departmental deliverables. Requirements for this position also include a B.S., and advanced skill levels in PowerPoint, Excel, Project Management, Time Management, Quantitative/Qualitative Analysis, Communication skills – verbal and written, and a strong collaborative work ethic to meet strategic deadlines. MBA or advanced degree such as economics is preferred as well as experience with data management and analysis tools such as SQL and SAS.
